Dear Diary,
Today at school, we talked to the class about our favourite
subjects.
My group talked about art. We each brought a painting to
class. Mine was a copy of Van Gogh's Sunflowers. "As the
saying goes, interest is the best teacher.Take me as an example.
My love for art came from my deep interest. Van Gogh's
works," I told my class.
Jenny's group talked about their favourite subject---social
studies. Bill showed us many photos of Beijing."These remind
me of my holidays there. Bill added. Jenny evensang a Chinese
song called Jasmine Flower! They know so much about China.
That amazed us. "The secret of learning social studies well is to
fully take part in the topic," Jenny said.
Karen's group showed us some physics. Tim put some very
small tea leaves on a desk. Then Karen combed her hair ten
times very quickly. She put the comb beside the tea leaves.
The leaves jumped to the comb! She also made her hair stand
up with the comb. Everyone was surprised. Tim explained why.
Later, Karen said, “Physics is like magic. When you get deep
into it, you will find it more interesting."
Time for bed!
