"It's Never Too Late to Mend the Fold After the Sheep Is

Lost"

Once upon a time, there was a farmer named John who

had a small flock of sheep. One day, he noticed that one of

his sheep was missing from the pen. At first, he thought it

might have wandered off, so he didn't worry too much.

But the next day, another sheep was gone. John began to

worry. He searched high and low for the missing sheep,

but they were nowhere to be found. It was then that he

realized that there must be a hole or weakness in his pen

that allowed the sheep to escape.

Feeling sad and frustrated, John could have given up and

thought it was too late to do anything. But instead, he

remembered an old saying, "It's never too late to mend

the fold after the sheep is lost."
